Brian D. Slaughter of Galena, Kansas formerly of Sheridan, Arkansas passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012 in Galena, Kansas. He was born August 1, 1967 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Larone and Jeannie Slaughter. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeannie Slaughter; grandparents, Lewis and Ruby Slaughter and Pete and Lucille Shrader.

Survivors include his wife, Kristal Slaughter and two step-children, Shea and Calyn Mazur of Joplin, Missouri, his daughter, Brittany Slaughter of Dallas, Texas, his father, Larone Slaughter and wife Stacy of Sheridan; brother, Wayne Slaughter and wife Kim of Hot Springs; Nephews, Zach Slaughter and Tyler McGaughey both of Hensley; a niece, Lyndsey Mills of Maumelle and a host of aunts, cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan, Arkansas with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. A time of visitation will also be Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 until 10:45 A.M. prior to the service.
