Bruce Douglas Mullins of Sheridan, Arkansas was born on July 4, 1953 in Pine Bluff, the son of the late Russell Mullins and Leona Inez Weatherford Mullins. He was a graduate of Glendale High School and he was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed turkey hunting, fishing, and fixing anything that was broken, plumbing, electrical and automobiles. He was a master carpenter having built many houses throughout the years.
Bruce died on Friday, May 20, 2022 at UAMS at the age of 68.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step mother, Carrie Mullins, a niece, Jenny Mullins and a great niece, Isabella Yarberry.
Survivors: wife Barbara Cardwell Mullins of Sheridan; sons, Doug Mullins of White Hall, Derek Mullins of Iowa; daughter, Rachel (Jared)
Sisco of Sheridan; brothers, Wayne Mullins of Pine Bluff, Dwight (Sandie) Mullins of White Hall; sisters, Melinda (Mike) McEntire of Star City, Tammy (Lester) Webb of Poyen, Debbie Mullins of Rison; beloved step-sisters, Edie (Bill) Terry of White Hall, Beverly (Bill) Simmons of Pueblo, CO; 7 grandchildren that he was so proud of, Dylan, Ayden, Parker, Devan, Hudson, Silas and Ruston, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and many friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on May 25, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Jeff Hedden and Bro. Terry Williams officiating. Visitation is at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00 until service time.
