Bud Cushing, age 80 passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on October 21, 2023.  He proudly served in the Coast Guard as an on board electrician. After he left Entergy, went on to work for Kohler as a maintenance technician and finally retired as an industrial maintenance mechanic at Pine Bluff Arsenal.He shared his love of piloting airplanes, HAM radio, sailing, riding motorcycles and watching football with his friends and family. He enjoyed making friends with strangers and was a great storyteller.

Bud is survived by his wife Virginia; his son Eric and wife Shoua ("Shoo") and grandson Rylen; his daughter Alison and husband Dean; his brother George and wife Betti; his two "fur-legged" sons Teddy and Piglet; nieces Angela & Sabrina, extended family; Len & Steve, Myris, Jhoan, Jaz; Yeng; Jenny; Teng & Anthony, Tia & Yeng; Kong & Gaoshoua; Phong; Mark, Marga & Jez and several extended grandsons and granddaughters.

Bud is predeceased by his parents; Wendell and Edith; brothers; Geoffrey & Donald.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2686 US-167 Sheridan, AR. Phone: (870-942-1306).
