Obituary

Calvin Clark Wilson of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 7, 1910 in Kingsland, Arkansas.
He died April 11, 2010 at his home in Sheridan at the age of 99.

Calvin was a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by a daughter Kathryn Kendell of Tyler, Texas.

He loved music and played the violin in his church for many years. Calvin was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. He loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed those activities with his loving wife of over thirty years, Hazel.

Sons, Jimmy Wilson of Malvern;
Paul Wilson and wife Hattie of Sheridan;
Bruce Wilson of Redfield;
Richard Wilson and wife Carla of Heber Springs;
Daughters, Shirley Valentine of Story;
Barbara Tubbs and husband Carol of Sheridan;
Dolly Fusilier and husband Willis of Sheridan;
Sister, Helen Dickson of Rower;
22 Grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rickey Poyner officiating. He will be laid to rest in Hopewell Cemetery near Carthage. Visitation: Monday 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are grandsons, Donald Tubbs, Stephen Tubbs, Russell Wilson, Jacob Wilson, Robert Valentine, Aaron Wilson, Jimmy Ray Wilson, Perry Wilson, William Calvin Wilson, Marshall Valentine.
