Obituary

Carl Edward Baker of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 1, 1933 in Sheridan, the son of the late Bodie and Willie Johnson Baker. He died Sunday, February 20, 2005 at his home at the age of 71 years. He was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan: a member of both Allen Hunting Club and Moores Lake Hunting Club: an avid sportsman and gardener and was very active in community affairs. He was retired from the Grant County Road Department and had worked as a log- scaler for Fox Brothers Lumber Company, and was a veteran of the US Army.

Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Donna Beck of East End.

Sister, Marilyn Sue Baker Warnix of Leola

Granddaughter, Kristy; great grandson, Jordan ; and 4 nieces

Funeral Services are 2:00 PM Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Danny Hill and Bro. Johnie Brewster officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation: 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
