Carl Adelbert Pifer, II of Sheridan, Arkansas also known as Carl Bob Pifer was born February 11, 1950 in Dubois, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Robert Wilson Pifer and Louise Weister Pifer. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan. He owned Choppers Salon in Sheridan and had been a hair dresser for 47 years. He was in the National Guard and had many hobbies. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, cooking and loved to tell a good joke.
Bob died Thursday, August 5, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 71.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin sister, Barbara.
Survivors: wife of 31 years, Nancy Hawbaker Pifer of Sheridan; son, Tony (Chalice) Vaughn of Sheridan; daughter, Denise (Brent) Holiman of Prattsville; sister, Luana (Joe) Palumbo of Dubois, PA; 3 grandchildren, Michael Hollinger, Hayden Vaughn, and Gavin Vaughn and dad's other girl, Lily, his dog.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. prior to the service.
