Carol Ann Christle Buie of Prattsville, Arkansas was born October 18, 1934 in Rugby North Dakota, the daughter of the late Edward Roy and Anne Elena Fisher Christle. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Sheridan. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, playing bingo and going to the casino with her sister, Colleen.

Ms. Buie died Friday, November 11, 2016 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 82.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Buie; brother, Patrick Christle; and sons, Danny Ray Buie, Michael Buie and Gary Buie.

Survivors, daughter and caregiver, Tena Marie and husband Nolan Schoggin of Poyen; son, Donald Ray Buie of Roseburg, Oregon; sister, Colleen Shoptaw of Wilbur, Oregon; 6 grandchildren, Miki, Missy, Randi, Casey, Misty and Erin; 9 great grandchildren, Jayden, Payton, Zander, Ethan, McKinna, Barrett, Jackson, Arien, and Cheyenne; and a host of extended family members and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Sheridan with Father Joe Marconi officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home with Rosary at 8:00 P.M. Burial will be at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery.
