Carol Marie Hunter Howard, 69, of East End passed away on November 27, 2020. She was born on September 23, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Coral Loftis and the late Raymond Hunter. She was a 1969 Sheridan High School graduate. She was a stay-at-home mom until she purchased the East End Cafe in the early nineties. She retired soon after when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

Carol loved to cook and was well known for her fantastic meals. Any time away from the kitchen was spent with her loved ones and she always wanted to know if she could spoil them. Her personality was radiant and she made friends anywhere she went. She was a great mother, grandmother and friend and was loved by many.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard B Howard Sr and brother, Eric Hunter. She is survived by her mother, Coral Hunter; brother, Ricky Hunter; daughter, Paula Yarberry; son, Richard B Howard Jr; 5 stepdaughters; 16 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 6-8:00PM on Monday, November 30 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. Graveside services will follow on Tuesday at 2:00PM at Salem Cemetery in East End. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
