Carolyn Crutchfield Ashcraft of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 3, 1942 in Sheridan, the daughter of the late George Franklin and Ella Mae Reaves Crutchfield. She attended New Life Fellowship Church and enjoyed going to yard sales.

Ms. Ashcraft died on Monday, January 1, 2024 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 81.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ashcraft; brothers, Bobby Joe Crutchfield, Vernon Crutchfield, Ray Crutchfield, Wayne Crutchfield, Dale Crutchfield, Buster Crutchfield, David Dean Crutchfield; sister, Mary Lynn Harp.

Survivors: son, Billy Ashcraft of Benton; daughter, Willette (Rick) Southworth of Glen Rose; sister, Dora Lee Freeman of Salina, Kansas; grandchildren, Mychal Johnson and Lindsey (Aaron) Parke; great grandchildren, Tristain Williams, Trey Mauldin, Teagan Mauldin, Noa Rose Parke and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A family service will be held at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville at a later date.
