Carolyn Colvert Ausbrooks of Sheridan, Arkansas was born December 22, 1932 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Nolon Henry and Billie Jackson Colvert. She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. She enjoyed gardening, canning and taking care of her children and grandchildren.

Ms. Ausbrooks died Monday, November 6, 2017 at her home at the age of 84.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles K. Ausbrooks, and sons, Mike Ausbrooks and Steve Ausbrooks; sister, Wanda Jean Kidd, and son-in-law, John Morris.

Survivors: sons, Scott and wife Darnelle Ausbrooks of Sheridan, Kevin and wife Dorothy Ausbrooks of Landmark, Chris Ausbrooks and wife Deirdre McCauley of Fayetteville; daughter, Karen Morris of Sheridan; daughter-in-law, Sandy Ausbrooks of Sheridan; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Williams and Bro. Vance Nutt officiating. Burial will be 12:00 Noon at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 6:00 -8:00 P.M.

Pallbearers are Eli Knudsen, Charlie Ausbrooks, Alex Morris, Jake Ritter, Tate O'Conner and Elrod Roberts.
