Obituary

Carolyn Florine Workman Coleman of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 23, 1937 at Kingsland, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Raymond Horace Workman and Mayselle Bridges Workman. Carolyn was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan, where she was involved in numerous ministries over the years, from working with the young people in AWANA, to helping with the Wednesday night meals. She was a retired beautician, and owned and operated Carolyn's Beauty Shop for 46 years. She also was a member of The Red Hat Society, and enjoyed going dancing with her friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with, and bragging on, her family.

Mrs. Coleman died Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at her home in Sheridan, at the age of 83. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Coleman; a son, Michael Coleman; brothers, Donnie Ray Workman, and Marvin "Brother" Workman.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Cynthia Coleman of El Dorado; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Ray Harp of Sheridan; brother and sister-in-law, Freddie Joe and Debbie Workman of Star City; sister-in-law, Doris Workman of Hardin; grandchildren, Craig Coleman (Paige), Anne Michelle Coleman (fiance' Zach Goff), Brittney Harp, Justin Harp (Kaylan); great grandchildren, John Ryan Coleman, Gotham Kling, Kamryn Holmes Harp, Kylee Ann Harp, Jordan Ray Harp, Braylon Harris. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

A time of walk-through visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Sunday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. Due to Covid 19, masks are required at the visitation.

Graveside funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Kingsland Cemetery, Kingsland, Arkansas with Bro. Gary Copeland officiating.

Pallbearers are Gary Don Hix, Robert Fleming, Patrick Campbell, DJ Ray, Randy Workman, Donald Gene Clark, Dickey Whitaker and Shawn Workman,
