Carolyn Nan Cantrell Hancock of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 17, 1934 in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of the late Toy Thomas Cantrell and Eula Faye Leslie Cantrell.

She was a southern lady who dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and a true angel on earth.  Everyone who knew her loved her.

Mrs. Hancock passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 89.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Romie Charles Hancock; brothers, Billy Cantrell and Jack Cantrell; and a sister, Melba Cantrell.

Survivors: sons, Daniel Thomas Hancock (Gail) of Jessieville and Michael Andrew Hancock (Glynis) of Greenbrier; daughters, Beverly Wynot (Shawn Watson) of Fairfield Bay, Rhonda Hancock of Little Rock, Sharon Hancock-McClung (Terrell) of Maumelle, and Virginia Hancock of Sheridan; sister, Sue Smith of Jacksonville, FL; Grandchildren; Sean Colee-Addington, Catlin Kellerman, Kara Martin and Amber Hancock; Great Grandchildren; Charleigh Kellerman, Rylee Kellerman, Kenley Kellerman, Nicholas Martin, Peyton Martin and Carter Hancock; 7 step Grandchildren; 11 step great Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be Friday, May 26, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Palestine-Jones Cemetery with a visitation from 12:30 until service time also at the cemetery.

Pallbearers are Daniel Hancock, Michael Hancock, Terrell McClung, Matt Martin, Barry Kellerman, Jr., and Sean Colee-Addington. Arrangements by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home of Sheridan.
