C arolyn Virginia Longcrier Jones of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 9, 1947 in Oakland, CA, the daughter of the late Floyd Ernest and Opal D. Fipps Longcrier. She enjoyed watching television and dancing.

Mrs. Jones died Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff at the age of 76.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her only daughter, Melissa Smith.

Survivors: husband, Billy Joe Jones of Sheridan; granddaughters, Kimberly Franklin, Amanda Franklin, Jolene Herman; great grandchildren, Bethany Franklin, Darius Franklin, Joseph Herman, Sydney Herman, Elliot Herman, Madisyn Aylward-Imiah and a host of extended family members and friends.

Graveside service will be at 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Center Campground Cemetery near Prague with Bro. Michael Walton officiating.
