Carolyn Joyner Marshall

Carolyn Joyner Marshall of Sheridan, Arkansas, was born May 9, 1936, in Unadilla, Georgia, the daughter of the late Claude and Cleon Dunaway Joyner. Carolyn was a homemaker and a faithful member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. She lived a life of love and dedication to her family and to her lord. 

Caroylyn passed away peacefully June 23, 2026, at Sheridan Health Care and Rehab Center at the age of 90. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Chester Marshall, brothers Claude Joyner Jr., James Morgan Joyner, sister Virginia Hicks, son-in-law, David Amerson and an infant daughter Janet Marshall. She is survived by her sons Chester (Teresa) Marshall Jr. of Batesville, AR, David Marshall of Sheridan, AR, daughter Judy Amerson, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Rick Bolin. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time. Interment service will follow at Hampton Springs Cemetery near Carthage.
