Carolyn Sue Doherty Wortham of Pangburn, Arkansas was born July 11, 1954 in Malvern, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Paul Doherty and Dora Sue Robison Doherty. She was a member of Letonia Missionary Baptist Church but also loved her 2nd Church Home, Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville. She enjoyed fishing, Christmas, playing the piano, going to Branson and doing crafts.

Mrs. Wortham died Friday, August 13, 2021 at her home in Pangburn at the age of 67.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James Lee Doherty and Paul Dean Doherty.

She is survived by her husband, Don Wortham of Pangburn; daughter, Stephanie Parish of Searcy; sister, Pauline (Tony) Ausbrooks of Sheridan; nieces, Angie (Jason) Holiman, Wendy (Dean) Egerdahl, Leslie (Chris) Lucas; Great nieces and nephews, Anna, Callie, John Holiman, Natalie Buie, Abby Peck, Corey and Toni Sue Egerdahl, Brittany and Megan Monk, Lexie and Tanner Lucas and many friends and family.

Funeral service will be held on 5:00 P.M. on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Goodman and Bro. Jason Holiman officiating. Burial will be at Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until service time.

Pallbearers are John Holiman, Corey Egerdahl, Howard Freeman, Jim Robinson, Wayne Robinson, and Kenneth McCool. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Don Easley and Clinton Sipes.
