Chad Grant Frelin of Bauxite was born on January 28, 1960 in Roswell, New Mexico, the son of Felix and Margaret Frelin. Mr. Frelin passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the age of 64. Chad is preceded in death by his wife Bobbi Lea Frelin.

Chad worked as a shop foreman for many years before retirement. He enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, especially magnet fishing, as well as metal detecting, golfing, and was an avid football fan whether it be the Razorbacks or the Cowboys he could always be found watching the games. Chad was also an enjoyer of any kind of history and would spend time exploring old homes or ruins looking for arrowheads or any other historical artifacts.

By far Chad's greatest love in life was his family and enjoyed every minute he would get to spend with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Matthew (Christin) Frelin, daughters, Jennifer (Chris) Strom, Brooke (Benny) Carter, brother, Craig Frelin of Fairfield, CA, sisters, Kim House of Spring, TX, Karen Vaughn of Atascadero, CA, and grandchildren Katelyn Levinson, Aspen Carter, Hudson Carter, McKenzie Levinson, Evan Carter, Beckham and Bleu Frelin and his furry friend "Big Pup".

The family will have a private service at a later date.
