Charles M. Armstrong, Jr. died Thursday, September 9, 2010 at his residence in Utica. He was 56.
Born in Pine Bluff, he was a graduate of Sheridan High School. He was a truck driver and later a salesman for Southern Wholesale Grass Co. for 35 years, then went on to pursue his dream of being a team roper.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa C. Armstrong of Utica; daughter, Margaret Armstrong of Sheridan; son, David Armstrong of Mabelvale, Ark.; sisters, April Armstrong of PA and Lisa Knickerbocker of Leola, Ark. and brothers, Scott Armstrong of Atlanta, GA and Ronnie Armstrong of East End, Ark.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, September 13, 2010 at the Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Utica with Rev. Dennis Aaron officiating
Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 AM until Noon at Glenwood Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Orion Cemetery in Sheridan, Ark.
