Charles Monroe Buie of Prattsville, Arkansas was born May 25, 1937 at Prattsville, the son of the late Thomas Monroe and Mary Pearl Stuckey Buie. He was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville, was a United States Army Veteran, and enjoyed fishing. Mr. Buie was a brick mason and was retired from Reynolds Metals.
Mr. Buie died Saturday, December 15, 2018 at his home in Prattsville, at the age of 81. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Curtis Buie, Eunice Earnest, Addie Mae Earnest, Odessa Robbins, Clayton Buie, Billy Joe Buie, Cletus Buie, Lavoie Shoptaw.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Marie Ellis Buie of Prattsville; sons, Robert Steven Buie and wife Tosha of Crossett, Victor M. Buie and wife Olivia, of Maumelle; daughters, Pamela D. Fleharty and husband Russell of Hot Springs, Susan D. Pumphrey and husband William of Hot Springs Village; brother, Thomas Buie of Poyen; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
