IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles
Inman
December 21, 1963 – October 13, 2024
Sylvester Charles Inman of Sheridan, Arkansas was born December 21, 1963 at DeWitt, Arkansas, the son of the late Joe and Corienne Cook Inman. So much of his life involved his service and commitment to Law Enforcement. His decades long career serving the people of Arkansas began at the Altheimer Police Department. After that, he worked for a number of years with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department where he attained the rank of Lieutenant. Finally he joined the Pine Bluff Police Department, where he served until his retirement. He also helped his community as a firefighter and EMT. Currently he owned and operated Central Arkansas Construction Services.
Charles was a confident and talented "Grillmaster". He thoroughly enjoyed cooking for family events and creating events to cook for, and that also included his A-dock houseboat family. He and Shannon are well-known in Sheridan for their over the top Christmas and Halloween yard decorations. He adored his family, especially his grandkids. He spoiled them, not only with things, but much more importantly with his time and his Love. He truly was a friend to anyone who would allow him to be. He could not stand to find out about a child who might have to do without at Christmas-time. He would step in and make sure Santa knew where they lived. Charles was the type of person who would help anyone he could, without praise, credit, or pats on the back. He did it simply because he had a servant's heart.
