Charles Raymond Jackson of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 23, 1931 in Redfield, Arkansas the son of the late James Thomas Jefferson Jackson and Lowrie Wheeler Roberts Jackson. He was a member of Bauxite Church of Christ and had served 20 years in the United States Air Force serving in the Korean and Vietnam War eras. He was an artist who also enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, hunting, and collecting arrowhead and rocks with his children.
Mr. Jackson died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 81. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Cecil Jackson and his sister, Edith Morris and a daughter, Deanne Franks

Darla Jackson of Little Rock;
Denee and husband Roy West of Grapevine;
Son-in-law, George Franks of Nacogdoches, Texas;
15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Baxter officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
Pallbearers will be Andy Jackson, Steve Jackson, Hunter West, David Heird, Brandon Davis and Jacob Davis. Honorary pallbearer will be Ty West.
