Charles Albert Lancaster, also known as Joseph D. Campbell, of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 28, 1942 at Little Rock the son of the late John and Sarah Northern Campbell. He was a retired truck driver for Ronald Surrett Trucking, had served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church. Charles also loved going to the Waffle House restaurant in North Little Rock.
Mr. Lancaster died Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at his home in Sheridan at the age of 62. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John Campbell and J.P. Campbell and 2 sisters, Florence Bouvet and Betty Dunnahoo.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 31, 2004 at the Providence Missionary Baptist Church near Sheridan with Bro. Gale Umholtz and Bro. Michael Poe officiating. A 2:00 P.M. Committal service will be held at the Shady Grove Cemetery, Clarendon, Arkansas. Visitation will be Thursday evening 6-8 P.M.Pallbearers; Joe Jones, Dewayne Watson, Jim Morrison, Ronnie Surrett, Doug Henderson, Butch Spears, Jim Santani and Michael Romine.
