Charles Anthony "Tony" Phillips, Jr. of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 9, 1998 in Little Rock, Arkansas the son of Charles Anthony Phillips, Sr. and Michelle Harp Phillips. He was a 6th grader at Sheridan Middle School and was a member of Hardin New Life Apostolic Church.

Tony was a 2 time National World Champion Boxer which he was so proud of. He was a member of Elite Boxing Club and he enjoyed playing football with his friends and family.

Tony went to be with his Lord on April 29, 2010 at his home at the age of 11.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alvin Harp and his cousins, Daffanie Harp and Nikki Edwards.

Grandparents, Jonnie and Charles Phillips; Scott Wire and Sue Harp all of Sheridan;
And a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 3, 2010 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Davie Poe, Bro. Dura Aldridge and Bro. Mike Yates officiating. Burial will follow at Ludwig Family Cemetery in Watson Chapel. Visitation: 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Phillips, Brandon Wilkins, Justin Moore, Scooter Vance, Bryan Wrinkle and James Allen Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be Kaleb Benton and J.T. Howe.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the funeral home.
