Charles S. Robertson of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 24, 1935 in South Houston, Texas, the son of the late James "Buddy" and Marie Churchill Robertson. He was a member of Junet Pentecostal Church, and had served in the Navy Reserve and the Arkansas National Guard. He was a retired police officer, ambulance driver and correctional officer. He enjoyed trout fishing, yard work and woodworking in his shop.

Mr. Robertson died Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 80.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Delena Shellnut and a brother, Jim Robertson.

Survivors: wife of 32 years, Faye Roberts Robertson of Sheridan; daughter, Stacy Ann McGuffin of Texarkana; brother, Robert "Bob" Robertson of Magnet Cove; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 21, 2015 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Mike Bowien officiating. Burial will follow at Lindsey-Poyen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are D.J. Shellnut, R.C. McGuffin, Ronnie McGuffin, David Derusse, Ray Price and David Hollingshead.
