Charles "Chuck" Leonard Sneed of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 14, 1944 in West Terra Haute, Indiana, the son of the late Glenn Jason and Clara Agnes Simpson Sneed. He was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan and had served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed playing chess, camping, traveling and snow skiing.

Mr. Sneed died Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at his home at the age of 76.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Velma Wayland and Ruth Byler and a step-son, Kyle Hardman.

Survivors: wife, Martha Johnson Barnes of Sheridan; step-daughter, Kelly (John) Heinzinger of University Place, WA; brothers, James Sneed of Moling, IL, Clifford (Sherry) Sneed of Cookville, TN; sister, Jessie (Allen) Moore of Cookville, TN; step-children, Janna and Mike Clark of McLeod, Montana, Robin and Danny Hill of Sheridan, Ross and Vicky Barnes of Sheridan; grandchild, Nicklaus Heinzinger; step grandchildren, Niki and Eric Petty, Clayton and Hanna Barnes, Trenton Barnes; step-great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Leah Petty and a host of extended family members, church family and dear friends.

At his request, there will be no service.
