Charles F. Tidwell of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 7, 1936 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the son of the late Joseph Earl and Rosa Bell Cook Tidwell.

Mr. Tidwell died Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Arkansas Convalescent Center in Pine Bluff at the age of 82.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Sam and Harry Tidwell and a sister, Hazel Ply.

Survivors: wife of over 53 years, Dorothy Webb Tidwell of Sheridan; brothers, Thomas Tidwell of Pine Bluff, Henry Tidwell of California; sisters, Helen Westerfield of Hot Springs, Rosa Mae Weatherford of Pine Bluff, and Linda Kelley of Pine Bluff; step-children, Margaret (Danny) Case of Mabelvale, Cathy Rieve of Sheridan, Lona (Tom) Ackerman of Little Rock, Edna (Ronnie) Wallace of Benton; 11 step grandchildren, 16 step great grandchildren, 1 step great great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Fitzhugh Cemetery near Pine Bluff. There will be no visitation.
