Charlie Franklin Webb III of Sheridan, Arkansas born October 17, 1953 passed from this life on Friday, April 25, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie F. Webb II and Louise Webb, one brother, Lewis A. Webb and a dearly loved niece, Dawn Landrum.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Martha Webb, daughters and sons in laws, Melissa and Steve Reedy of Benton, Laura and Nick Reaves of Sheridan, and Elizabeth Solano of Hensley, 3 granddaughters, Miranda, Gracie and Peyton with grandbaby number 4 expected in November. He is also survived by his sister, LaVonne Mistric of Jacksonville and a brother John Webb of Cabot, and many more close family members and friends.
Charlie considered himself a true Confederate American, proud of his Southern Heritage and the true meaning of Southern Pride. He was a Detention Officer employed by the Sheridan Detention Center and took great pride in the fact that fellow officers as well inmates valued his friendship.
A Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. C. D. Scott and Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Memorials may be made to Sheridan Animal Shelter, c/o City of Sheridan, 304 Gatzke Drive, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150.
Charlie is an intricate part of all those that love him and a cornerstone whose spirit will remain alive, strong and proud in all he knew and loved.
