Charlotte Ann "Cookie" Crowder, of Leola, Arkansas was born April 25, 1942 at Leola, the daughter of the late J.P. and Grace Pickering Crowder. She was of the Assembly of God faith and was formerly a nurse's aid. She enjoyed traveling, especially just getting in the car and going for a drive, and she had a great love for animals. Charlotte used to be a chicken farmer and was twice awarded, "Producer of the Year", by Tyson.

Ms. Crowder died, Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff at the age of 69. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Floyd "Bud" Mavis Simmons, Jr. and a nephew, David E. Brown.

Survivors: Sister, DeNalda Lee Crowder of White Hall; nieces, Pat and husband Jerry Gamble of Tillar, Frances and husband Marty Alford of White Hall; nephew, Michael and wife Lisa Brown of Dallas, Texas; 3 great nieces, 3 great nephews, 4 great great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan. Burial will be at Brush Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday.
