Chris Anthony "Griz" Edwards of Poyen, Arkansas was born
December 23
, 1963 at Malvern, the son of the late Robert Eugene and Shirley Jean Lawrence Edwards. He had worked in every facet of the logging industry, enjoyed hunting, and was a member of RMR Hunting Club and Toler Hunting Club. He loved spending time with his kids and their family's, and when not with them, his favorite activity was riding his motorcycle, and being with his Backroad Ramblers Motorcycle Club family.
Griz died
Saturday, August 14
, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, at the age of 57.
Survivors include his son, Zac Edwards (Marcie) of Poyen; daughter, Nikki Cate (Rickey) of Jessieville; brother, Dwight Edwards of Poyen; sisters, Debbie Batchelor (Gene), Teresa (Gary) Austin, all of Poyen; grandchildren, Nathan Taylor, Kaylee Cate; He is also survived by numerous other family members, his Backroad Rambler family, and many friends. Last but certainly not least, he is survived by his faithful dog, Stihl.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M.
Friday, August 20
, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan. Burial will be at Lindsey-Poyen Cemetery. Visitation is

, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
