Ronnie Chris Volner of Grapevine, Arkansas was born May 18, 1953 in Phoenix, Arizona, the son of the late Paul and Cassie Roberts Volner. He was a faithful member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. He had worked at Fox Mill, Tipton Hurst Florist, and the Grant County Sheriff's Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outside and spending time with his family.

Chris died at his home on December 26, 2023 at the age of 70.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Volner, and sisters, Brenda Fenter, Paulette Gardner, Daphne Derrick and a granddaughter, Melody Olivia Rae Volner.

Survivors: wife and best friend of 48 years, Margaret Herron Volner of Grapevine; daughters, J'Lyn Tucker of Redfield; Kelly Volner Dowdy (Jad) of Fairfield Bay, Vanessa Fleming (Shane) of Grapevine, April Volner of Sherwood; brother, Greg Volner (Suzanne) of Sheridan; sisters, Virginia Volner of Brinkley, Jerry Ann Wilder of Ft. Worth, Texas, Tammy Denney (Eddie) of Alexander, Vida Brown (James) of De Leon, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Shea Ewell (Trevor), Tanner Tucker, Keeton Terry, Katie Cox; great grandchildren, Kloe, Taytum and Ember Ewell and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Brent Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time also on Friday.
