Christine Carr Black of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 14, 1929 in England, Arkansas the daughter of the late Hugh William and Toy Donavin Carr. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Black died Friday, December 3, 2010 at Baptist Health Medical Center at the age of 81.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald Wayne Tipton, brothers, Donald Carr, Billy Ray Carr and a sister Lorene Mack.

Grandchildren, Donnie Tipton of Missouri, Cindy Tipton of Missouri, Bart Dorsey of Conway, Jamie Dorsey of Bryant and Denise McCammon of Fayetteville; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild;

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 6, 2010 at Bethel United Methodist Church in the Ico Community with Rev. Albert Marlar officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 2:00-4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Gene Dreher, Bill Dorsey, Robert Carr, Orin Boody, Justin Stockton and Jack Cameron.
