Christine Woodrome Shafer of Little Rock, formerly of Pine Bluff, was born July 2, 1940 at Altheimer, the daughter of the late H.O. "Doc" and Ruby Lee Staley Woodrome. She was a retired waitress at Denny's restaurant in Little Rock.

Ms. Shafer died Friday, July 29, 2005 at the Arkansas Hospice Center at Pine Bluff at the age of 65.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Cypret of Atlanta, Georgia, Thomas Cypret of Battle Creek, Michigan, and James Cypret of Crestview, Florida; a brother, Orville Lee Woodrome and sisters, Jane Watson of Pine Bluff, Patricia Ann Magnini of Pine Bluff and Jeri Smith of Little Rock. Special Nephew and caregiver, Gene and wife Tammy Brown of Sheridan and caregiver Carolyn Culberathe. Grandchildren: Cori Cypret, Kevin Cypret, Angela Ritchey, Charles Cypret II, Maria Cypret, Keith Cypret, Shawn Cypret and Stephan Cypret. Great Grandchildren: Jessie Cypret, Tina Maria Ritchey, Rachel Moliena Ritchey, LaShai Cypret, Josiah Cypret and Emily Kate Cypret.

A private family service was held Saturday at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel at Sheridan with Bro. Odell Lindsay officiating. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Childrens Hospital.
