Cynthia Diane "Cindy" Welch of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 5, 1957 in Wayneville, North Carolina the daughter of Evelyn Beck Welch and the late William Troy Welch. In her earlier years, she had attended Moore's Chapel Methodist Church. Cindy was a Cerebral Palsy survivor…not a victim. She loved her family and was a joy to be with. She enjoyed watching old movies, and appreciated the beauty of God's creation, especially animals and looking at her ducks.

Cindy died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Sherwood at the age of 56.

Survivors: mother, Evelyn Beck Welch of Sheridan; sister, Lisa Welch of New Orleans, Louisiana; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private graveside will be held at Lost Creek Cemetery at a later date.
