Clara Bethel Herring York of Beebe, Arkansas Formerly of Sheridan, Arkansas, was born October 2, 1942 in Anaheim, California, the daughter of the late Clarence Herring and Moira Webster Herring. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed watching Gunsmoke, going to the casinos and spending time with her family.

Ms. York died Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Beebe Retirement Center at the age of 75.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Oza Mae Herring, son, Warren McCall; brothers, Jake Herring, Albert Herring, Clyde Herring, and Jimmy Herring.

Survivors: sons, Clifford Brumley, Chris McCall York; daughters, Cindi (Steve) Cooper and Wendy (Andy) Treat; brother, Thomas Herring; sister, Evelyn (Johnny) Taylor; grandchildren, Audrey Cooper Hearn, Jared Cooper, Carter Treat and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Jones Cemetery near Redfield with Bro. Robert Ewing officiating. There will be no visitation.

Pallbearers are Chris York, Andy Treat, Clifford Brumley, Jared Cooper, Steve Cooper and Timothy Wimberly.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff, employees and residents of Beebe Retirement Center for the love that was shown to Clara.
