Clyde Quinton Ray of Sheridan, Arkansas and Ennis, Texas, passed away December 20, 2008. He was born December 13, 1937 at Prattsville, the son of the late Thurman and Sarah Ray. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Reisel, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Tommie Jean Ray of Ennis, Texas; sons, Travis Ray of Hot Springs, Randy Ray of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Kevin Ray of Glenwood; brother, George M. "Mac" Ray of Murfreesboro, Arkansas; sister, Kay F. Beatty of Sheridan; brother-in-law, Jerry Ivy and wife Sally of Ennis, Texas; 8 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 23, 2008, beginning at 9:30 A.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home of Sheridan. Funeral services will begin following the visitation at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Doney Blackerby officiating. Burial will be in Philadelphia Cemetery at Prattsville.
