Colten Shane West of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 9, 1996 in Little Rock, the son of Michael Shane West and Terri Slocum McNamara. He enjoyed hunting, playing golf, UFC, F1 Racing and being an auto mechanic. He was a jokester and he loved to make people laugh.

Colten passed away at his home in Sheridan, Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the age of 27.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Raymond Slocum and Kenneth West.

Survivors; father and step mother, Michael Shane West and Shanna McCarroll West of Bismarck; mother, Terri Slocum McNamara of Sheridan; grandmothers, Barbara West of Sheridan, Mary Slocum of Benton;  brothers, Nick Gray of Humnoke, Kaleb Gray (Madison) of Conway; sister, Jessica Morgan (Garrett) of Conway; step brothers, Stephen Pacheco of Bismarck, Aaron Taylor of Gurdon; step sisters, Alanna Adams of Arkadelphia, Ashton Gregory (Kyle) of Donaldson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 at the funeral home. Burial follow at Corinth Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Keifer West, Kent West, Kaleb Gray, Nick Gray, Tyler Jackson, home and Caleb Jackson.
