Connie Plunkett Hayes of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 6, 1924 in Grapevine, Arkansas the daughter of the late Martin L. And Claudie Smithey Plunkett. She was a member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. She enjoyed camping, cooking, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hayes died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab Center at the age of 89.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H.W. Hayes, daughters, Barbara and Brenda Hayes, and a brother Huel Plunkett.

Survivors: Daughter, Loretta Clark and husband Roger of Grapevine;
Brother, R.G. Plunkett of Sheridan;
Sister, Sue Clement of Grapevine;
Grandchildren, Carolyn and husband Roy Clark, Terra and husband Mika Evans, Jason and wife Amber Clark; Great grandchildren, Dusty Clark, Wade Clark, Mika Evans, Kaylee Evans Leslie Clark, and Summre Clark and host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 1, 2013 at Ain Cemetery in Grapevine with Bro. Al Michael officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. prior to the service.

Pallbearers are Roy Clark, Dusty Clark, Wade Clark, Guy Mika Evans, Jason Clark and Time Clement.
