Obituary

Conrad James Wilson was born July 18, 1926 in Dallas County. He passed away on June 24, 2020, in Saline County. Conrad was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Ann Louise Foster Wilson. He is survived by his four sisters: Era May Weeks, Peggy Cusick, Gean Simmons and husband, Dr. Richard Simmons, and Dorothy Nell Green; his three children, David Wilson and his wife, Freda Wilson of Sheridan, daughter, Cheryl Farmer and her husband Tom Farmer of Benton, and his daughter, Julia Chambers of Conway. Conrad is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Conrad Wilson proudly served out country as a staff sergeant in the United States Army in World War II. He was deeply loved and respected by his community homes of Little Rock and Sheridan. Conrad was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Sheridan and a proud member of the Iron Springs Masonic Lodge in Landmark.

One of the great loves of Conrad's life was his grandfather, Charlie Ward, who taught him the skills of his life's passions, hunting and fishing.  Conrad was an avid sportsman and an excellent provider for his family.  He was rarely seen without a smile, and he always had a funny story to tell.

Our family will be forever grateful for the excellent care and compassion from the staff of Four Seasons Assisted Living.

Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 26, 2020 at New Hope Cemetery in Sheridan.  There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Seasons Assisted Living, 2408 Military Road, Benton, Arkansas 72015.
