Cora Louisiana Shoptaw Millirons of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 20, 1918 in Redfield, Arkansas the daughter of the late William and Ruby Lee King Shoptaw. She was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church and she and her husband were former owners of Whitmire Grocery Store. She loved to crochet, hunt, travel and spend time with her family.
Mrs. Millirons died Monday, December 24, 2012 at her home at the age of 94.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, "France" Millirons; sister, Myrtle Louise Knight and her husband Floyd; granddaughters, Leigh Ann Thompkins, Stacy Kendall Millirons; grandson, Alex Brandon Millirons; great great granddaughter, Heather McElay and 11 brothers and sisters.
Survivors, Son and daughter-in-law, Albert and Carolyn Millirons of Salem, West Virginia;
Daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Bill Tribble of Sheridan;
Sister, Della Faye Baugh of Redfield;
8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Derrell Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel North Cemetery in the Ico Community. Visitation will also be on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
