Corine Hooker, age 89, of Sheridan, Arkansas, formerly of DeQueen, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, July 22 ^nd .  She was born October 27 ^th , 1932, in Horatio, Arkansas to M.T. Wilson, Sr. and Sally Stringfellow Wilson.  She received Jesus as her personal Savior at a young age and served him faithfully throughout her life.  She was not ashamed of the gospel and spoke about Jesus with everyone she met.  Corine was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan.  She enjoyed attending church, singing gospel music, and caring for her family, whom she dearly loved.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Dalie Hooker, one son, Michael Hooker (Patricia) of Benton, two daughters, Sherry Bratton (Joe) of Sheridan and Paula Velazquez of Springdale, two grandchildren, Angela Peeks (Andy) of Riverton, Wyoming and Matthew Wallis (Ashley) of Elkins, and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Williams and Bro. Joe Bratton officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, 9:30-10:00 A.M.  Burial will be at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, in Redmond Cemetery at DeQueen.
