Albert Coy McLemore of Hot Springs, formerly of Sheridan was born March 10, 1940 in Grapevine, the son of the late Eulas and Nancy Goodman McLemore. Coy had served in the National Guard for 8 Years, was a member of New Life Fellowship Church, a heavy equipment operator, had owned a service station, and had retired for International Paper Company. He and his wife worked for over 16 years at the Corp of Engineers as being hosts for state parks. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and driving a truck.
Mr. McLemore died at his home in Hot Springs at the age of 85.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Joann Dobson, Leon McLemore, Wynell Green, Carroll McLemore, Jim McLemore, Letha Brenchin, C.B. McLemore and Virgil McLemore.
Survivors; wife, best friend, care giver and soul mate for 67 years, Louellen Brown McLemore of Hot Springs; sons, James McLemore (Amie) of Grapevine, Tony McLemore (Rochelle) of Hot Springs: daughters, Nancy Ipock (Larry) of Sheridan, Pamela Horton of Hot Springs; brother, David McLemore (Sue) of Ramona, OK; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 26, 2025 at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan with Bro. Raymond Cleghorn officiating. Visitation for the family will be at 1:00 P.M. prior to the graveside at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Bruce Bellomy, Rocky Bellomy, Austin McLemore, Justin McLemore, Chris Horton, and Michael Bates.
Honorary pallbearers are Buck Bellomy, Kiefer McLemore and Shawn McLemore.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or The Caring Center, 101 Quapaw Avenue, Hot Springs, AR
