Curtis Jack Lucas of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 18, 1972 in Little Rock, the son of Brenda Tipton Lucas and the late James Lucas. He was a graduate of Sheridan High School Class of 1990 and a member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed coaching his kids teams, antiquing, building things, and being a practical joker. He was the #1 fan for his children's sports teams.

Curt died at his home in Sheridan on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the age of 50.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Lucas.

Survivors: wife, Heather Reynolds Lucas; sons, Aidan Lucas, Alden Lucas, Ashton Lucas all of Sheridan; daughters, Kendall Lucas of Jonesboro, Ava Lucas of Sheridan; mother, Brenda Lucas of Sheridan; brother, Rodney Lucas of Alexander and a host of extended family members, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan with Bro. Tim Reynolds and Bro. Gary Copeland officiating. A time of visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
