Dakota Sonny Crutchfield of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 3, 1999 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of Donnie Ray and the late Miranda Jo Burns Crutchfield. He was serving his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed several sports, but excelled in track and running. He had a great interest in learning, his favorite area of study being science, specifically physics.

Dakota died Sunday, June 2, 2019 in Sheridan at the age of 19.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Angela Crutchfield.

Survivors are his wife, Grace Pinkerton Crutchfield; son, Arley Don Crutchfield; grandparents, Donald and Tonya Crutchfield, Joe Burns of Conway; sisters, Cheyenne Marie Crutchfield, Savannah Nicole "Nikki" Crutchfield, Hope A. Crutchfield; special aunts and uncles, Jessica Heifner, Shana Heifner, Joyce McCumpsey, Clay Crutchfield, Michael Crutchfield, Damon Crutchfield; best friends, Cody, Logan, Nathan, Jake, Leven, Tyler, Shawn and Matt and a host of extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Old Marlow Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
