Dakron Spates "Pete" Freeman of Prattsville, Arkansas was born February 10, 1927 in Little Rock, the son of the late Orbin and Louise Freeman. He was a retired truck driver for McKisson Drug Company.

Mr. Freeman died Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at Hot Spring County Medical Center in Malvern at the age of 78.

Survivors are his wife, Dora Lee Crutchfield Freeman of the home; sons, Gerald Lee Freeman of Sun City, California and Terry Freeman of Westminster, California: Daughter, Darlene Sue Freeman Nicholson of Salina, Kansas

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, April 8, 2005 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Hugh Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville. Visitation: 6-8 Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Freddy Crutchfield, Eddie Crutchfield, Bobby Joe Crutchfield, Vernon Crutchfield, Gary Shoptaw and Rodney Walker.
