Obituary

Charles Dalton Finley of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 17, 1946 in Carthage, Arkansas the son of the late Joe and Alla Mae Stiles Finley. He was retired from ITW Shippers and was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to hunt, fish, work in his garden as well as sing and play the guitar. Most of all he loved to play with his grandson, Trent.

Mr. Finley went to be with Jesus on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 65.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Curtis Finley and Fred Finley, and an infant grandson, Landon Finley.

Son, Jason and wife Kira Finley of Sheridan;
Brothers, Aubrey and wife Wilma Finley of Leola;
Terry and wife Melinda Finley of Sheridan;
Sisters, Jannette and husband Gary Reddin of Collierville, TN;
Phyllis and husband Irvin Henry of Leola;
Grandchild, Trent Finley; Step-grandchildren, Travis and Jacob Worth all of Sheridan;
Special friends, Virginia "Gin-Gin" Rupe; Marty and David Mayhugh.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ricky Poyner and Bro. Kenneth Click officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Sheridan with Bro. Jim Wagner and Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, 2163 Grant 74, Sheridan, AR 72150.

Pallbearers are Wayne Davis, Jim Gordan, Colby Populis, Joey Finley, Rodney Finley, Corey Finley, Chris Carter and Shawn Finley.
