Dan Patton Ozment of Bald Knob, Arkansas was born January 24, 1948 in Little Rock, the son of the late Marvin L. Ozment And Willie Bea Green Ozment Jensen. He was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church and a Mason and belonged to Iron Springs Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed building hot rods, visiting and socializing with friends and being with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Dan died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Baptist Health Medical Center at the age of 64.

Daughters, Jennifer Marie Armbrister and husband Shawn of Maumelle; Joanna Harris of Sheridan; April Abshire and husband Michael of East End; June Allen of Wylie, Texas;
Brother, Don Ozment of Sheridan;
Sisters, Patricia Butler of East End; Gloria Venable of Little Rock and Martha McClain of Sardis;
Grandchildren, Kolby Phillips, Kaleb, Nathan, and Brandon Abshire, Jacob Harris, Miles and Anna-Kate Caldwell, Gage and Tripp Armbrister, Daniel Allen and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and class-mates.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Fleming officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in East End. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Dr. Donald Meacham, Bill Brown, Billy Brown, Shane Brown, David Moring, Doug Ozment, Scotty Ferrell and Lee Moring. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Gravenmier and Mike Jordan.
