Daniel "Danny" Gillespie of Prattsville, Arkansas was born July 1, 1956 in Little Rock, the son of the late Walter Rummel and Golda Mae Dinger. He enjoyed hunting but especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. Danny attended New Life Fellowship Church in Sheridan and was known for his deep love for Jesus.

Mr. Gillespie died Friday January 21, 2021 at his home at the age of 64.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Rackley.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Gillespie of Prattsville; daughters, Teresa Reynolds of Little Rock and Shannon (Kris) Rutherford of Sheridan; sons, Shaine Wingard of Sheridan and Cody (Tiffany) Wingard of Grapevine; sister, Betty Anderson of Little Rock; uncle, Charlie (Ree) Dinger of Little Rock; beloved grandchildren, Annalise Wingard, Dallie Wingard, Jaxton Rutherford, Madison Wingard, Jossie Wingard, Jonah Rutherford, Sawyer Wingard, Lea Ellison Phelps, Paula Reynolds, and Anna Rustyn Phelps; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Graveside Service will be 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville with Bro. Steve and Tom Cypert officiating. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 6:00 -8:00 P.M.

Pallbearers are Shaine Wingard, Kris Rutherford, Cody Wingard, Hunter Phelps, Joe Pumphrey, and Karl Walton. Honorary Pallbearers are Tony B. and Roy Jett.
