Danny Bryan McGarrah of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 28, 1950 in Sheridan the son of the late Fred and Mattie Mae Winston McGarrah. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Prattsville and the owner of Double Mc Deerstands. He was a 1968 graduate of Sheridan High School and a retired carmen welder for the Union Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed turkey and deer hunting.

Mr. McGarrah died October 12, 2021 at UAMS at the age of 71.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Gates McGarrah, mother-in-law Bonnie Gates, brother Carroll McGarrah, sister Bonita Mae McGarrah, and a nephew Greg Hicks.

Survivors, son Bart (Amy) McGarrah of Sheridan; daughter LeAnn Brown of Sheridan; brother Michael (Kathy) McGarrah of Mena; father-in-law Sidney Gates, longtime girlfriend Ann Carter; grandchildren Corey and Amanda McTigrit, Brett McTigrit, Dave Mitchell, Harley Mitchell, Cason McGarrah, Hadyn McGarrah and Rhyder Reed; hunting buddy Ronnie Nutt of Sheridan; one new great grandson Westen Drake McTigrit and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday October 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00 until service time.

The family wants to encourage people who are attending the service to wear camouflage in his honor.
