David Charles Lindsey of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 22, 1937 at Josey, Texas the son of the late Joe, Sr. and Willie Mae Wilson Lindsey. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Germany, was retired from Nabisco, was a Mason with the Bellaire Lodge #1336 in Texas and was a member of the Allen Hunting Club.
David died Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 68. In addition to his parents and siblings, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel at Sheridan. Visitation will be Monday 5-7 P.M. Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Little River Cemetery near Cameron, Texas. Honorary pallbearers will be: Don Cahill, David Rogers, Brian Rogers, Danny Baldridge, Claude Halbert, Chad Halbert, Jack Felts, Philip Poe, Billy Poe and Porter Pruitt.
