David Mayfield (Harrell Mayfield, Jr.), 67, of Jacksonville, Arkansas leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sarah Mayfield and his sister, Shirley Mayfield Choate of Sheridan. He is preceded in death by his parents Martha Fletcher Mayfield and Harrell Mayfield, Sr.

David led a life full of music and adventure. As a gifted musician and guitar player, he had a memorable career playing many years for Charlie Rich and later on with Jerry Lee Lewis. The music industry was fortunate to have him.

Whatever the circumstances, David was forever the helper and gracious to a fault. He was also a member of Cornerstone Bible Fellowship Church in Sherwood.

David will be sorely missed by his family and friends and may his memory be a blessing to all.
