David Cabe Moore of Prattsville, Arkansas was born August 19, 1931 in Prattsville, the son of the late Henry Clifton and Lois Iva Ray Moore. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 21 years of service and then worked at, and retired from, St. Vincent's Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock as the Department Head of Central Supply. David was a Baptist and was also an avid fisherman.

Mr. Moore died Monday, March 24, 2008 at Grace Healthcare in Benton at the age of 76.

Survivors include his wife and best friend of 51 ½ years, Wanda Gaye Martinson Moore of Prattsville;
Daughter, Deanne Moore Speer and husband Tony of Prattsville;
Brothers, J.H. Moore of Mabelvale; Roe Moore of Prattsville;
Sisters, Jan McNeil of Pangburn; Charlene Graves of Little Rock;
Grandchildren, Cabe Moore Speer, Michael Speer, Natasha Speer, Nicholas Speer and Great Granddaughter, Rebecca Speer.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville with Bro. Don Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation: 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. The U.S.A.F. Honor Guard will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be: Richard Graves, Chuck Graves, Tim McFarland, Dennis Moore, Michael Shoptaw and Leslie Loftis. The Moore family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all of David's caregivers and especially want to thank Kyla and Teresa with Saline Hospice for all they did.
